Good evening,

I don't know if I have understood in the right way the "grace period".

When the contract is deployed any function invocation should be ""forbidden"" until that period elapse? is that right?

Could you explain it better?

Hi, sorry for the late.

Exactly, the idea should reflect the period to advertise the presence of the auction to the public, e.g. "The auction will open in X days".

I think functions interacting with the auction should be "blocked", while those reading the info about the auction such as name, location, phone number etc (if present) can be freely invokable.

The text says: "This period is measured as the number of blocks corresponding to ∼ 5 min.", so is it right to consider that it is fixed and equal for each kind of auction? How can we estimate this number? 

I thought that since eth block time is between 10 and 19 seconds we can compute some kind of average...
