Questions on Pandemic Flu project

Good evening, I have two quick questions about the Pandemic Flu project:

1)

> "The infection can be propagated to a peer only if its operating system is compatible with the infecting virus"

> "The propagation of the virus starts from a single peer chosen at random"

Shouldn't it be that every OS will have 1 infect? Otherwise there would be OSs that can't be infected, or am I misunderstanding something?

2)

> "build a graph whose nodes correspond to the peers which are infected or removed during the simulation"

What are "removed" nodes? Maybe it was supposed to be "patched"?

Thank you in advance

1) You are right. You can make several experiments, for instance starting form a single peer with a single operating system, starting with a certain percentage of operating systems, starting with a peer for each operating system. It can be the occasion to perform more experiments.

2) Again, you are right, the term removed is not defined in the text. And yes, it means patched, that is the node will no more spread the virus.

Thank you for your clarification requests
